Olivia Kathryn turns 3!

My sweet sweet Olivia Kathryn. You seriously are just like the saying 'sugar and spice and everything nice'. Because, you are oh so sweet and at the same time.....a little spicy. You are quick to apologize (even if you aren't at fault) but you will stand your ground like no other child I have seen. You are so different from Hayden but yet try to copy EVERY. MOVE. HE. MAKES. I can see the love between you two sweet siblings. I see a lot of me and my sister (except a sister/brother) in how you guys interact. And that makes me happy because my sister is my closest friend. Words can't describe the love I have for you. You make me smile always. And your sweet hugs are the most addicting thing I have ever experienced. You are a girly girl but with a very rambunctious side. You always want mommy to paint your nails, do your hair and basically everything! Ha. Which I am so grateful for because I was not close with my mom at all. I am glad I can have this incredible bond with my son and my daughter.  I would say about 85% of the time you are a very go with the flow girl. You are up for most anything. But, girl if you are in a bad mood....everybody knows it! I hope you always keep your sweet, feisty spirit! I love being your mommy and you are the most beautiful, perfect little girl. I love you to the moon and back sweet thing.

Getting ready...

We have all been struck down with some sort of illness the past few weeks. It has been absolutely miserable. But, what are you going to do. Luckily, we all seem to be on the mend and just in time for Olivia's third birthday party! I am really looking forward to her party and surprisingly not stressing out about it at all. Maybe that's because all the decor is done...cakes ordered....gifts ordered and so far everything is going to be done or ready on time. Phew. I think next Thursday while Hayden is at school I am going to take Olivia to get her nails done for the very first time. A special birthday present from mommy. I know she will love it. She is such a girly girl.

Anyways, here are a few pictures of what the kids have been up to....

 These kids LOVE their headphone...BUT only one kid can have them in at a time. There have been some fights because of this. Ha.

 Hayden loves his life size dinosaur book. He will open up the really big pictures and ask me to take a picture and then want to leave there all day so daddy can see it...just the way it is. Because heaven forbid we put it away and reopen when he gets home. :/

 Hayden loves wedgits. He received for Christmas and he has already gotten the hang of them that he will try to duplicate the pictures. He does really well.

 Both kids will dump out all their laundry from their laundry baskets, then dump all their stuffed animals from their toy bin and put in their laundry basket along with pillows and blankets. They then pull them to the living room and call them their boats, cars, etc. Today they were reading their NG Kids.

 He is just now starting to enjoy coloring but he has always put a crayon, pen, pencil behind his ear whenever he is on a mission. I love it.

 If I can't find Olivia she is usually hiding beside our bed on the ipad.

Christmas 2012

We had a great Christmas here at the Blair House!

First off, we didn't think we could make the Blair Christmas down in LR and last minute we got to go! We all are so glad we got to go and the kids love playing with all of their cousins! I don't have any pictures from that Christmas but we did get a SUPER great camera from that Christmas that I do have pictures from our Christmas in Springdale. I may update blogger now more that I will have pictures. It was hard to get motivated about blogging when I had no pictures really to upload. Ha.

Anyways, here are some pictures of our Christmas up here (mind you we were grossly misled about having a white Christmas....we got NOTHING!!)

 Cooper is such a good dog. Just lets the kids ride him, put things on him, tease him with food (pic below) and the list goes on, on what this dog will put up with.

 Poor poor Cooper. I turned around and find my poor dog being tortured. Ha.

After our Christmas down in LR I think Hayden thought we were done...or just didn't care anymore. He woke up Christmas morning and crawled in our bed, Andrew opened his eyes and Hayden said 'Shh..close your eyes and go to sleep.' Ha! Well, now that Christmas is over its full on for Miss Olivia Kathryn and her birthday! I'm excited for her birthday party this year. I always seem to do more or get more into Hayden's parties but I like her theme this year. Easy to work with! Trust me...there will be pictures!
