Hi!!

I am just going to do a quick blog post...we are getting ready to head to a play at the Walton Art Center tonight. Kids are pretty excited. I have not been taking many pictures lately....its hard when you are interacting to step back and think 'oh, I need to take a picture.' My mind doesn't work that way anyways. But while we were getting ready today I did take some pictures of the kiddos. I'll post those in a minute. We have not been up to too much. Had a nice day at the park on Sunday and then the weather went downhill. Yay. :/ Hayden has to stay at school on Thurs until 530 to do their OM practice. The month of February is pretty with OM practice, fundraisers, parties, etc....I must say that I am so grateful that I am not in charge of anymore class parties. Two are enough for me for one year. But it sounds like a fun Vday party is in the works. :) Hayden is 'star of the week' this week and gets to bring the Hunt Husky home for the weekend. He has to draw a picture of it and tell a story of what he did with it. He's actually pretty excited about it. And he has to pick a few pictures that mean something to him (I really don't know how a picture means anything to a 5 year old) and something from around the house that means something to him. They keep these items until Friday. Which is leaving Hayden to pick things he could really careless about! Ha. Anyway, here are a few pics.

 Oh my sweet sweet Liv.

I love getting right in his face. Ha! He is so laid back and really just doesn't care. :)
I will try to get better about taking pictures. But there you go for now! :)

Olivia's 4th Birthday party!

My sweet sweet Olivia Kathryn. We had your 4th birthday party today! I seemed to have gotten completely overwhelmed with this party and I haven't a clue why. The party was  kind of a fog! I heard laughing and a lot of talking, so, I am thinking it was a successful party. I am so appreciative of all the people who showed up to show Olivia they care. And to the ones who couldn't make it to call and let her know they love her and to wish her a happy birthday! I haven't yet had a chance to put away all that she received but just getting started to and I am so grateful for all the people we have in our lives. I didn't take many pictures...like I said overwhelmed. Sheesh.

Cookies my best friend made for me. She is so amazing and stayed up until 1am on Thursday to get these cookies done. She didn't have to do that at all!
 Grinch party!!
Decorating for a Christmas type theme party after Christmas..means...an extremely low budget for party decor!!! I did not spend more than a $1 for any of the decor or party favors! Woo-hoo! Wonder if I can talk her into a Christmas theme every year. Lol.
So.....did I tell you that I felt overwhelmed with this party and pretty much felt like a chicken with its head cut off? No. Yes. Well, I will tell you again. Overwhelmed. Chicken with its head cut off. I FORGOT my cake lady's name! And frankly, I think bakeries charge too much. What was I going to do? Go through my list of contacts....'Do you make cakes?' So, I made it myself. Yep, sure did. Ha! I was going for an ombre effect. Nailed it. :/ I know pink is not normally a Christmas color but you can't have a party for Olivia without some pink. :)
My sweet and precious little Grinch. Who literally ruined her shirt in less than 5 minutes.
Emma helping Olivia out. Emma is a great helper. Love her.
 Still helping. ;)
Kids are starting to gather around.
Even though it was chilly the kids played outside a lot and they even ate out there! Which eating outside during a party is like the best thing ever.
Taking bites in between jumping and chasing Alec around.
Every time Emma comes over she wants to be pushed on the wooden swing. :) Like I said, I did not take many pictures. In my mind I felt like I had taken a lot. Nope, a total of 29 and out of those 29...18 were of the exact same thing. Chicken. Head. Cut. Off. As I sit here and type it appears that the groovy girls are having a slumber party in our living room and the need to take every article of their clothing and stretch it along the floor is a must. :)
