Christmas 2013

We spent Christmas Eve and Christmas day in Little Rock this year. It was Olivia's first time to not wake up in her own house on Christmas morning. Everyone had a great time and really enjoyed spending time with family. I have a TON of pictures of our trip down there.  So...here goes.

A puppet curtain for the kids Bebe made for them. They love this thing. And you can tell some hard work went into it!!
Beautiful tree ready for Christmas festivities.

Kids over at Bruce and Emily's watching Spider Man.
Just sitting and talking over at Bruce and Emily's.
I love this picture. Even though Hayden is doing a weird smile thing...I still love it. :)
Here is the puppet curtain from farther away.

 Both kiddos on Christmas morning.
The Dinosaur tails that Beth made. Such a great and perfect gift!!

The above pictures are from a snowman game that we played on Christmas Eve. Hayden was such a trooper and even won the game!! Go Haydo!!

Miss Kinley. Its been forever since we have seen her and she has grown so much! So pretty!
 Mr. Miles. Little ham. Ha.
Jackson. Its good seeing him. I'm glad my kids don't act like he is a stranger anymore. They will willingly go up and give him a hug.
Grandmother Blair. Love her!! We were glad we got to see her two days in a row too!
Bruce. So pleasant and calm. And in the chaos of so many kids...its nice to have that calm person. :)
Miles in his dinosaur tail!! Those tails were such a big hit! Great job Beth!
Olivia opening gifts. Big fan of this little ladybug backpack. Has worn it since she opened it.

Hayden opening some gifts. They were both so good! So proud.

Just love Miles expression here! Like ''Let's Ride at Dawn!!" LOL.
 Sweet hubby.
 Tracy. So sweet and pretty.
Oven mitt game! This game was so funny...the kids just loved it and thought it was so fun. They were like little cats watching a light as they moved around with the dice.

 Hayden got a turn!!
Pretty Ava. Such a good little girl.
Hayden showing Jackson one of the his magic tricks. Loved this moment.

We had a great time and both Bebe and Emily made their homes so inviting and beautiful for the family along with delicious meals!! Thank you guys!!

We made our way home Christmas afternoon. We picked up my mom and Hayden and Andrew went and watched Walking with Dinosaurs...which they both said was really good. Olivia, my mom and I went and watched Frozen. Such a cute movie! I think it is one I would buy the kids. I know Hayden would like it too. After the movie we came back to our house to open gifts from Andrew and I and my mom. The kids were exhausted and just flew threw all the gifts. We didn't really buy many toys at all...they got a lot of books and dvds. But they did get one big super awesome gift! And Andrew and his friend Brad will be putting it together on Sunday....a TRAMPOLINE! The kids are so excited and cannot wait til it gets put up! Well, I am now going to go back to getting my house back in order....ugh. I am having the kids go through their toys for our garage sale in the spring. Its quite possible Olivia will have zero toys left! I may need to control that a little bit. :) Anyways, everyone had a great Christmas 2013!!!! Now on to getting ready for Olivia's birthday party. :)

Snow and Sledding!!

We had a good amount of snow and ice the past couple days and we took advantage and went sledding at JB Hunt park yesterday! It was so much fun!! But boy it was freezing cold! I can't believe we stayed out there for an hour. Haha.
Andrew and I LOVE this picture of the kids. Just simple. It will soon be framed. :)

Look at my happy family. Just pure joy! We all had such a good time and the hills were packed at the park but everyone was courteous and just enjoyable.
Seriously!!!! Hahaha!!! So funny!

As you can see we had fun. Blogger is not uploading anymore of our pictures from the day so that's all I have to give on photos. Sorry.

Hayden has now had two 3 day school weeks. I just love having him home. But he loves school...going to be an even shorter school month for the kiddos. My mom suspects that they will not have school on Monday either because it isn't going to get warm enough for any of it to melt. We have just been watching Christmas movies...and my kids love Christmas Vacation. Parenting score!! Kids have been doing a lot of playing. Unfortunately they can't do too much outside playtime because it is SO SO SO cold! I have taken the time to finish up my friends Christmas outfits for her kids. I made her Thanksgiving outfits for her kids and they wore them two days in a row to both of their Thanksgivings. So sweet. Its nice to have people appreciate the hard work that goes into making things. They are not easy. But some people just don't like/appreciate homemade gifts. Hey, it can be an acquired taste. Ha!!

Hayden and Olivia made me, Andrew and YaYa Christmas gifts this afternoon. Cutest thing ever. I was not to look and they are all under the Christmas tree waiting for us for Christmas. :)

Anyways, that is my short post for the week. :)

Picture Time!

I was really happy with how the pictures turned out for these two! They are SO good when it comes to pictures. Its stress free and they just do what you ask them to (this is not as common at home when asked to pick up their room).

This month is kind of busy. Hayden only has 20 days of school this month (YAY!!) and of course we have Christmas. We also will be going to Silver Dollar City to see the Christmas lights. Kids are really looking forward to going and are beyond excited that our friends Brad and Anna are going with us. We have the Angel Tree party with our church.  And after Christmas is always straight to getting everything ready for Livy's party.

Hayden has a field trip on the AR/MO Polar Express train this month, his class party-which I am in charge of but after Dec I am NOT in charge of anymore! :) Although I just have to say....when I was in school we never had cool field trips like that!
