Hayden Turns 5!!

Today, sweet Hayden, you turn 5 years old. You are absolutely amazing in every which way. You are so easy and laid back. A very VERY social little thing. You will make friends with anyone and talk to anybody. The kids at your school love you to pieces and literally chase you down the halls to tell you goodbye. Anybody who meets you, immediately loves you. You are amazing. Your love for life and people is unreal and I hope that never leaves you. You are smart beyond your years. I love that even though you love people you are anything but a follower. You are a leader and people listen to you. You are very hard headed and stubborn. You will argue until you are blue in the face. Ha!! You always want to learn and ask LOTS of questions. We love you so much buddy! You make are lives so much better and happier!! Happy Birthday Bobo!!

Hayden's 5th Birthday Party!

Hayden had a great party today!! So many friends and family came to celebrate. Thank you to everyone who came...we all had an awesome time and I hope you did too. :)
Good grief...they look so excited, right?! :)
 The party favor table.
Lego table. Surprisingly, was a big hit.
 Hayden's lego party. :)

Hayden and Liv playing outside with YaYa before everyone arrived.

All the kids loved our wompy, crooked tire swing.
Hayden, Alec and Alyssa.....these three stuck together almost the entire party. Hayden says "Alec is my best friend." So sweet.
 Oops. :)
Hayden, Alec, Alyssa and Alec's twin sister Emma.
 Sweet Noah.
My best friend Jacie made this swing for Hayden! She knew he wanted a swing and knew he loved dinosaurs. Ahh-mazing! On the back it says "Happy 5th Birthday Hayden. Love, The Leudecke's" Such a fun and sweet keepsake.

Spring!

Yesterday was a gorgeous day! We first went to Crystal Bridges museum to see the Norman Rockwell exhibit. And I have to say it was amazing and very interesting. We only stayed for about 20 mins and in that 20 mins the kids were very well behaved. We then came home and Andrew installed our new ceiling fan. The motor blew out on our fan last summer but the light worked so it wasn't a huge priority for us. Then Saturday night Andrew went to turn off the light and pulled the little chain and it ALL broke off. We took that as a sign to replace the stinkin thing. But I am very pleased with the new one! And it is so nice to have the breeze and circulation from the fan. Kids rode bikes while Andrew was doing that. As soon as he was done we headed to Springdale park. I LOVE that park. Its always so busy, people feeding ducks, grilling out or just playing. So nice. We stayed for quite a while and Hayden just took off on his bike! Then we came home and still didn't want to go inside so we grilled out and sat outside until it was time for kids bath. Such a fun relaxing day.

Ignore the gumballs...ha! Kids are fascinated by this bird and her nest.
We have so many tulips and I love it!! We go out everyday to see what new ones have sprouted.
My big boy with no training wheels. I am so proud of him. Never imagined he would be without training wheels before his 5th birthday!
 Sweet little girl.
Love this park and everything about it.
Typical Olivia having to pet, literally, every dog she sees.

Kids like to roll down hills. I see it as itchy but they enjoy themselves.

Oh, the sand. Boy do they love sand. They played in the sand for quite sometime and Andrew and I just got to relax.

Another picture of my favorite park. We go to this park at least once a week. For sure, every single Thursday when Hayden gets out of school. We check out books and feed the ducks. Just a great time.

First Friday

I have to say I love First Friday at the Bentonville Square. The atmosphere reminds me so much of my hometowns' beloved Dogwood Festival. Except that just happens once a year and First Friday lasts 7 or 8 months a year!

It is finally garage sale season! And Hayden spotted these shoes, which looked brand new before he got to them, and just had to have them. And for .50 cents...SURE! (It was much better than the motorcycle helmet he was trying to convince me into buying. Gah) They are a size too big but he does not care and has worn them since we got them.

The kids favorite part of the square. The huge fountain.

People dressed up in costumes does not phase Hayden one bit. Olivia runs and hides to make sure she is not seen.
It was a BEAUTIFUL day on Friday and was a little warm so we stopped to get a drink.....hand squeezed lemonade....$5! I was sure I was going to get a skinny tiny cup but nope. Got a huge cup and even a pink and green straw perfect for the kids. Best part......not much sugar at all.
They couldn't get enough of it. It was pretty tasty.
Here is just a small glimpse at what its all about.
 Play doh station.
The kids watching balloon animals being made for them. Will NOT do that again.....the balloons popped or deflated within about 5 minutes of getting them. Luckily, kids could of cared less.
This lady was very...umm....interesting. And that guy was just from the crowd. A very good sport and pretty entertaining to watch.

 Yay!!

We stayed a little over 2 hours and just had so much fun. We will for sure be back...multiple times.
